# Discap

> Discap is a Discord bot that records voice calls and turns them into notes. It joins a voice channel, transcribes each speaker, and when the call ends posts a recap (summary, decisions, action items, open questions), the full transcript and the audio to the server. It is free.

## Commands

- /join: pull Discap into your voice channel.
- /stop: end the session and post the recap.
- /ask: ask what your server talked about before.
- /audio: private link to a past recording (when an admin turns downloads on).
- /optout: keep your own voice out of transcripts.
- /settings: recaps channel, auto-join, downloads, who can stop.
